GUIDE TO THE PROSECCO ROUTE FROM CONEGLIANO TO VALDOBBIADENE
Starting from Villa Toderini.
From Villa Toderini reach Conegliano; there the Wine Route begins at the historic Wine Institute “Cerletti”, heading towards Collabrigo, where you can enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding hills.
Along Rua Feletto arrive in San Pietro di Feletto: don’t miss a visit to the parish church of the twelfth-century in elegant Romanic style. A short detour to Refrontolo leads to the enchanting Molinetto della Croda, embedded in the rock.
Then head to Solighetto where eighteenth-century Villa Brandolini houses the Consortium of Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG. From the hill of St. Gallo you can enjoy an amazing view of the Piave valley.
Once in Col San Martino, past Farra di Soligo, visit the little church of St. Vigilio and the medieval Towers of Credazzo. In Colbertaldo also admire the old "Casere", barns and sheds.
The "cru" of the DOCG Prosecco is the “Cartizze” area, which produces the homonymous sparkling wine. After St. Stefano and St. Pietro di Barbozza arrive on the main square of Valdobbiadene surrounded by neoclassical buildings; not far is Villa dei Cedri, home of the Sparkling Wines of Italy and Altamarca Forum.
From Valdobbiadene drive back towards Guia, take the road SP 123 in the direction Campea and reach Pedeguarda; then up towards Farrò where you enjoy the view of Rolle.
Pass Arfanta and follow the road for Tarzo, Corbanese, Cozzuolo, Carpesica and Ogliano, all ancient villages in an untouched landscape.
Return to Villa Toderini.
